AristosIV 0 #1 Posted May 5, 2012 I have a Wheel Horse w/11 HP engine. It won't turn over, but if I jump from the battery negative post, and the positive to the starter, it turns over. I know I should check the solenoid, but I cannot locate it. It's a stupid question, but I am unable to locate it.

Don1977 605 #3 Posted May 5, 2012 I have a 10 hp vertical shaft Briggs it doesn't have any thing that looks like a regular solenoid. It's easy to hand start and I don't keep a battery on the mower as I don't use it much. It does have a small plastic box with three wires coming from it looks more like a relay.
