My conference is not far from the beach...the Thunderbirds where practicing today and I took a few shots. Here is one I took while they were flying a few hundred yards off the water.

Sweet, the confederate air force use to have its home right hear in Harlingen when I was a kid, and I always loved watching the thunderbirds. They put on a great show!

I worked a Confederate Airforce Show back in the mid 80's as a Civil Air Patrol cadet. The show was a lot of fun, it was the first time I had seen the Canadian Snowbirds in action. I met some of the Thunderbird pilots at another airshow in Oklahoma a few months or maybe right at a year before their formation crash into the ground while training for new shows. I have also watched the Blue Angels at several shows through the years.
