64s 83 #1 Posted April 22, 2012 I had a tire go on my 856's mower deck. I looked up the part and came up with part number 6749, which doesn't correspond to any other number and is in the 50-60 dollar range. Ebay has a few wheels which are 6 x 1.75 inches, but my tire measures 5.5 x 1.5 inches. Is my wheel correct, or has it been replaced sometime in its life? 64s 83 #3 Posted April 23, 2012 Dodge78, Thanks for the reply, but the tire in the link is bigger (taller, wider, and hub length). My tire attaches with and e-clip and the hub on the 'new' tire is longer than my current one by 1/8 inch. Have you made the swap yourself? Do I get the bigger wheel and replace the stud with a bolt? Am I over thinking this? I just don't want to buy any wrong wheels and have to deal with returns and/or a piles of unused wheels down the road. Thanks for your suggestions.
