So whats wrong with 50# Bolens wheel weights??? Nothing except that they say BOLENS on em!! I couldnt deal with that :eusa-doh: .I found a set of Wheel Horse style rear wheel weights for sale locally(paid to much I'm sure, but I had to have em).

They got powerwashed, wirewheeled, primed and painted gloss black. Then off with the Bolens weights and on with the Wheel Horse weights. I also have a set of 25# Cub weights on the inside of the rim but they dont have Cub written on them  .

I had some Ford weights but they had to go. I didn't want my tractor catching fire! :angry-extinguishflame:

...or a skim coat of body filler applied to the Bolens name, and sanded smooth.

Yes they can be ground off, but by doing that I'm sure the dollar value of the weight drops. Someday I'll cross paths with a Bolens guy who just like I had to have genuine WH weights, has to have genuine Bolens wheel weights.
