dgjks6 6 #1 Posted July 9, 2008 He has lowered the price twice - from $1200 to $800. Wish he would not part it out, but in his location (way up in Wisconsin) and his price, I do not think it will sell. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...sid=p2759.l1259

dgjks6 6 #7 Posted July 9, 2008 If I bought it the first thing I would get rid of it the "comfortable yellow seat"
combatmp29r 27 #8 Posted July 9, 2008 Eldon has had a few non original seats on WHs he's bought B)
DMESS 24 #9 Posted July 9, 2008 Eldon has had a few non original seats on WHs he's bought Yeah, this would fit right in! The Magnum 20 is not correct, but probably a better motivator than the original KT-19. Paint it black and few will notice. I have a feeling Eldon might have something else in mind, but I'll say no more!
combatmp29r 27 #10 Posted July 9, 2008 I'm pretty sure I know what your hinting at Dustin, but we'll leave it up to Eldon to let the cat out of the bag B)

kj4kicks 151 #12 Posted July 9, 2008 BUSTED !! oh well.... Now, who can we call on for the WH wagon train? I think if we can get it close to Indy, maybe Joel & Ken can find room to bring it to NAMA?

DMESS 24 #19 Posted July 9, 2008 Considering it's an 82-83, and the original powerplant is gone, I'd say it's a perfect candidate. Sell the M-20 to recoup some funds or fund the 3pt hitch you MUST have for a Super C!
Nick 13 #20 Posted July 9, 2008 I can say from many hours in the seat of a C-195 with a KW loader that it is up to the job of loader work. I believe it might even handle it better than a 520-H. The C-195 did steer a bit harder but was manageable. You can always swap in the gear reduction steering from a 520 or even better add power steering. Forgot to add that I prefered my 26-12-12 tires on modified offset rims over the duals. The 12" rims had welded in centers so it was a simple project moving the center. Another one i sold for project funds but should have kept.
wh500special 2,073 #21 Posted July 10, 2008 Anybody else who is watching this see what happened overnight? There are no bids yet, but the opening bid bumped from $800 to $1000. I knew you could LOWER a reserve before the end of the sale, but had no idea you could INCREASE the starting bid. To put it more succinctly...WTF? nylyon-(Admin) 7,130 #22 Posted July 10, 2008 I think that his new comment is the reason why I have had a lot of interest in parts Keep sending me emails on what parts you need listed first I want to get them ready for sunday morning (if nobody takes it for a $1000.00)
Nick 13 #23 Posted July 10, 2008 Steve, Ebay tends to change what they like and I tend to forget what the newest rules are. But I believe it use to be that a seller could change anything unless there was a bid or if it is within the last day or maybe 12 hours of the auction end. I just noticed karls post. I would say the guy is getting offers for parts so he is making sure it doesnt sell to cheap. Being an ebay heathen myself I can tell you it would bring more in parts and on a good week much more. Curmudgeon 28 #24 Posted July 10, 2008 Any tractor is worth more in parts than as a whole... If was all about money, there would be NO complete tractors. To some, it is all about money. I don't have a problem per say with parting tractors out though, until you get into the more desirable and rare ones. I'd put the C-195 in the category of tractors that shouldn't be parted.
