Jim_M 179 #1 Posted March 19, 2012 I had to mow today. The entire yard didn't need mowed but there were enough areas of tall grass that it left me no choice. I can guarantee you I've never mowed on April 19th before.

smoreau 658 #4 Posted March 20, 2012 I mowed yesterday just to try out my new to me bagger setup with a blower. Worked great picking up stuff in the yard from winter. Worked great!

Jim_M 179 #6 Posted March 20, 2012 Aren't we in March? Or am I missing something? Normally we're still plowing snow up here this time of year. We don't usually have to mow for another month.

Mid Nov is a long, long way off. jeesh, you can tell the difference a few miles make! my grass is now growing, but it is very wet and muddy still from winter (yes we still keep getting rain here). Might dig out the ZTR this next weekend and have a go... I will have to move 4 horses and the trailer first though :)
stevasaurus 23,274 #12 Posted March 20, 2012 This thread is absolutely disgusting. I may get by for another week or two.
Rollerman 290 #13 Posted March 20, 2012 I actually enjoy mowing & have been looking forward to it. The C160 A sat all winter with the plow on it & only got used one time & really didn't need it then. Was nice to finally get some seat time Sunday mowing.
Jim_M 179 #14 Posted March 20, 2012 I don't mind mowing either. I find it relaxing.
Kingwood990 16 #15 Posted March 20, 2012 I mowed yesterday. I wish I had used the WH but I used the tractor that had the most gas. Got a field to mow some time this week so I will get at least a hour of seat time.
CasualObserver 3,411 #16 Posted March 20, 2012 Mowing time is my "me" time. Unfortunately my grass is still dormant and brown. Little snow this winter and no rain has really dried out the ground and kept it down. Finally got a little rain last night, so I imagine it will be greening and growing like crazy the next few days.
