Picked up a tiller

use the turnbuckle instead of the chain, drop the hydro as low as it will go in and then tighten the turnbuckle

the turnbuckle should be "maxed" out in the up position, then when you drop it to the ground and loosen it

it should go deep enough to bottom out the gear box

use the lower hole you'll get more range

from the pictures you're only a few inches off the ground, should be able to go higher

i had my tiller on a 141 hydro and i was much higher and the way I described above, you will get plenty of range

i have my tiller on a C160 now and i'm way off the ground

i'll take pictures if i get a chance

Ive got it as high as it will go. As it is the pulley bracket is kissing up against the tranny case. I may refab that pulley bracket to allow me more clearance
