Hello all, just picked this up today and wanted to show it off. Naturally the I.D. tag is missing and the engine is not original. Any ideas if it's a 58 or 59?? .....Thanks for any info!

The rear fenders look to be off a front engine round hood like 702 etc. the foot pedal has been modified but overall it is a really clean tractor-sweet find!

it looks just like mine , which also has no serial # but the transmission has date code of may 1959 , hence rj-59 the date code is on top of trany, under the tool box & left of the seat spring. hope this helps jay

Tires are Firestone's....they do look unique! Thanks for the trany date code Jay, i will check that out.

For $150 I couldn't say no!

great looking tractor ,not sure which it is 58/59 , could do with the original RJ fenders & tools box to look right. but still a good find & the hood looks to be in good shape.

do you intend to restore it or leave as is

Well I can't help you with what model it is like some of the experts here can, but I can say I would have given $150 for it in a heartbeat! Very nice, and those are definitely unique tires it has on the back.

I have a feeling that I was just watching..."honey, I shrunk the Ags". neat pattern, never seen that in a garden tractor before...cool. :)

Very nice score for a $150! With a date code of Jan 1959 it was most likely tagged as a RJ58. The "RJ58" model ran into 1959.
