Good Craigslist Deals Lately? (Pic Heavy)

Recommended Posts

CRE1992

So, being I'm in college I don't have a lot of money. But I've been running into a lot of good deals lately and spent a lot of my cash. Has anyone else been running into any good deals?

So far this month I've purchased two sets of cast wheel weights for $40 per set. I have alreayd been offered $250 for the set by 2 different people as they are hard to find simplicity/allis weights. However I'm not selling them because they fit inside the rim, and they will always be worth money.. And I got two suitcase weights with a weight bracket for free. I picked up a whole bunch of engines for cheap also that are all going to a fellow member( Mr. Rooster). I got a K341 for $120 for the same member. Of course I gave him a great deal because hes helped me out a lot also.

Engines For Fellow Member (Rooster): Briggs Opposed 18hp Pressure Lube, Kohler K161 (Really Dusty), Kohler K301(not pictured), and a Kohler K341(not pictured)

Thanks, those 2 sets of wheel weights fit together work as a set, they both fit perfectly in the rim. if you closely look at the picture with the wider one on the outside you can see the inner weight.

Thanks again. I sold cast iron weights before but now I am going to start collecting them. Everyone is scrapping anything and everything they can by me, especially anything old and metal. (Poor tractors also) Gonna keep saving the wheel weights. And rooster will be quite happy with his engines.. Hes getting a good deal. He just has to wait to get them, they are going to change hands at the show in June to get taken nearly all of the way to Kansas (AKA The Lost World) where he lives.
