I'm in Hudsonville, between Grand Rapids and Holland. Hudsonville is known as the salad bowl.

I am headed to grand rapids for the weekend with my wife for our anniversary. Anyone know of any good restaurants in that area(not chains)

Depends where you want to go. Are you going downtown or in the surrounding areas? What type of food too ?

Couldn't find any info on Jude's so we ended up at the twisted rooster. Excellent food and service. And they've got Oberon!!!

The Chop House downtown is excellent for steaks, very pricey though. Located across the street from the Amway Grand.

We really enjoyed it. I'm sure we will go back there next time we are up that way.
