Steve B. 30 #3 Posted February 22, 2012 The Open Source Ecology project has some great ideas going on. If I recall correctly, they built their "Mad Max" tractor for about $4k. You can see a video of it in action here http://opensourceecology.org/wiki-gvcs.php The hydraulic brick press that also runs off of the tractor can produce 5000 bricks a day from loose soil.
