rmaynard 16,369 #2 Posted February 16, 2012 Welcome to RedSquare. I looked up the part number for the bushing and it has been changed to 101442. It is still available from Toro for about $3.00.

stevebo-(Moderator) 8,541 #5 Posted February 16, 2012 IMO I would replace the plastic bushing with a bronze bushing commonly found at hardware stores or TCS. Good luck and oh yeah what he said above about pics !
Kelly 1,033 #6 Posted February 17, 2012 I bought a couple of these from Toro they were Bronze, but I think I paid $6 each.

mcgranesp 1 #9 Posted February 18, 2012 Ok went today to TSC and bought a bronze bushing for the steering column. Perfect. $2.79. The bushing was a 3/4x7/8 x 1-1/8x3/4. part # 3284700. Thank you for the information and all your opinions. Greatley appreciated. Does anybody happen to know what the seat is off of that is on the tractor in the first pic ? it is cast iron. I purchased an original square pan seat for it allready. Also i will be looking for the mounting bolts for the hood if anyone knows where i can find them. Also will be looking for a steering wheel center cap. not exactley sure what the original is suppose to be. Thank you.
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #10 Posted February 18, 2012 Member "Gene_S" can hook you up with the hood bolts, and member "GlenJeri" has the steering wheel centers. You'll have to PM Gene and you can find Glen in the vendors section: LINK
