Thanks everyone for looking at my other post in here. I have a question though. I know several members here installed or, had installed in ground irrigation. Do these systems have some sort of pressure pump? I have an idea (again) for an above ground system. But, I don't know if my well can handle it. Just an Idea for the gardens. Let me know and thanks in advance. Pat

I have a 1 hp, 4" submersible pump. I also have two air pressure air tanks which gives me the water pressure and volume that I want. There is a pressure switch on it. When the pressure drops to 40 PSI the pump kicks on. When it reaches 60 PSI it cuts off. This system runs my house and sprinkler system with no problems.
