WH854 45 #1 Posted January 12, 2012 I notice there are 5,565 menbers names on here. But I never see more than 350 logged on in one day. Most of them are supporters! what happens to the ones that are not supporters when they log on, Also there a lot that have never posted at all. what happens to them? Just curious! Sparky-(Admin) 23,110 #2 Posted January 12, 2012 I think many members have not re-signed up since we had to move the site (more than once) . Or maybe they found another site during the time RS was experiencing intermittent outages, and then finally died, and have settled in at that new site. Mike............. WH854 45 #3 Posted January 12, 2012 I was just wondering!!! At my age I may not be here Tomorrow. Do the non supporter members get to see every thing the supporters do. The reason I ask this, If you are not logged on you can't read every thing in some parts. Chas
Riley088 63 #4 Posted January 13, 2012 As far as I'm concerned there isn't a better site or group of guys out there then RS members whether supporters or not IMO.

If you are not logged on you can't read every thing in some parts. Chas Thats correct. You must be logged in to see everything you are supposed to see and of course be logged in to post. AMC RULES 37,195 #6 Posted January 13, 2012 I'm wondering, if you're a member here, why you would not want to log in? I think everyone's active participation is what makes this place so great?
nylyon-(Admin) 7,878 #7 Posted January 13, 2012 Banned members see nothing, guests see selected items, members see everything EXCEPT the supporter area and supporters see everything. Supporters are able to post more pictures, have less restrictions. Since our crash, we have probably 1000 members back which is pretty good. Many members joined to have a question answered, and once answered don't really return. Others just choose to not participate at all, but enjoy the content. And there are those who registered and decided that RedSquare wasn't for them. Over the years, there's a mix of all of the above. I am still resetting former members passwords every day. I am usually doing 3-5 / day and although they're not showing up every day, it's an occasional thing. I intentionally restrict guests so they have an incentive to join in on the conversation, but I do leave some critical areas available for them to reference without having to join. We do not "prune" the member base, so if someone joined 5 years ago and never posted, their account remains today. I suppose that we could prune, but I don't see the need. As a note we have 1,803 members who joined since the forum inception and 1/1/2011 who have never posted (just a quick tidbit)
