I'll be bidding Marv, thanks for being reasonable. :handgestures-salute:

Should be an interesting economic experiment, let's see how hard times really are. :dunno:

WOW!!! $75.00 already and it's only been listed for 2 hours. So much for the bad economy! Marv if yours is doing so good, I may list my original copy of the book and see what happens.

I think that $999.99 is a little bit on the overly optimistic side.

I think that $999.99 is a little bit on the overly optimistic side.

Not to mention they were not a quality product to start with. My 1st edition has a few pages which have separated from the book  . I dont look at it much but if I used it as a frequent reference book it would be practically shredded by now :disgust: .

I'm waiting for the e-books to come out. They'll be scanned eventually by someone. With all the millions of e-readers being sold I didn't think anyone read physical books anymore.

The author should create an e-book before someone else does it for him and he misses the boat. It's just a matter of "when" in my opinion. I think prices will drop a lot when that happens. You snooze you lose.

What's the difference between a first edition in a second edition?

The most significent difference is in the binding.

Second edition was "made in China"...Go figure...
