chinoman279 10 #7 Posted January 6, 2012 Not sure if it will hold up long. Like was said earlier...better than shoveling. Last winter I measured up the front of the G6 to weld up a mount so I could mount a lawn tractor plow. They are for sale all the time around here...sometimes for $50. I figured I could have had a whole setup up and running for about $150. The G6 transmission has surprised me with how much abuse it can take so I figured why not. It has at least 20k plus miles of pulling 2k pounds or so. Probably another 10k miles of pulling 1k pounds. Driving back from Montana with a loaded down car and trailer I would probably tipped the scales around 7500 pounds easily. Still got 22.5 mpg!! Just change the fluid often and drive the snot out of it. Maybe I can sell my 310-8 and put a plow on the G6. I would have more room in the shed to tinker with other things then. If I only knew where I put all my drawings...I believe I even drew them up in autocad on my other laptop. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
