Kelly 1,028 #1 Posted December 30, 2011 I know it's off season, but I picked up a 60" deck today, it's in overall nice shape could use paint, has new blades and came with the correct spring loaded mule drive, my questions are I can't find a model no on it, it is the heavy fabricated style what years did they make that style? 2. it has deck wheels on the front outer front corners but they are not factory, did this style come with rollers on the corners? someone did a very nice job building these roller mounts, and a was a pro at welding. And yes this is for sale if anyone needs a nice 60" deck.
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,059 #2 Posted December 30, 2011 Kelly, That is the newer style 60 inch and they did come factory with those rollers. The earlier 60's (not those used on the C195) had skid plates on the front corners and if you were mowiing on uneven ground it would dig in on the corners. I had both and either model is good. Kelly 1,028 #3 Posted December 30, 2011 This looks to have had skids, and someone added the rollers, I'll get pics tomorrow, I took some today but after getting in the house found out I forgot to put the SD card in the camera :banghead:
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,059 #4 Posted December 30, 2011 That is exactly what I started to do with my earlier deck when I stumbled across the newer model.
shallowwatersailor 3,213 #5 Posted December 30, 2011 Kelly, It sounds like you might have a deck for the 5xi series. The 48" deck for my 518xi even has wheels not rollers like the 48" deck for my 312A. John
shallowwatersailor 3,213 #6 Posted December 30, 2011 Check my recent post in Implements and Attachments "Rolling Stand for Mower Deck" for pictures of my 48" deck with Anti-Scalping wheels.
Kelly 1,028 #7 Posted December 30, 2011 I'm sure this is a 60" from a 520, I'll get the pics up on here.

MalMac 1,328 #10 Posted December 30, 2011 Kelly it should be a C5-60SC03 somewhere 1988 to 1991. The pic is a deck that came on my 1991 520H. If thats Ricks deck it came off a 1989 520HC.
Kelly 1,028 #11 Posted December 30, 2011 Yes it was Ricks, and he did say it was off a 520HC

cheesegrader 433 #15 Posted January 3, 2012 I have a C5-60SC01 that I got from Refracman. The layout is similar, but the front rollers are a different style, and set wider apart.
