Recommended Posts

Since I cant post in the correct forum i figured this is as good a spot as any.

I was out and about and found this little gem. Its never been played and since record players went the way of the dodo it probably never will.

Turntables can still be found for cheap at tag-sales and flea markets. I would love to hear the WH jingle!

You can still buy new turntables :banana-dance: one of the cheaper ones is a all in one player that

looks like a old time radio w/a cassette/cd and am/fm radio we have one my wife uses to play some of her old records on

We got one of those too. Comes in handy this time of year. We can play my old Andy Williams and Ray Conniff Christmas albums on it.

I would like to here what they sound like too!

I doubt I will ever play it. Its old and made of a thin plastic. I am not going to take the risk of destoying it.

These, as far as I know, only were distributed in 71, as it was only in the 72 dealer book I got and none of the others, that is what I am basing my assumtion on.

If I recall correctly, some of the "all in ones" will even convert the old vinals to MP3's for your computer / Ipods. Definitely a cool piece.

How rare are these things?

That is an excellent find Steve. Thanks for sharing. If you wanted to hear it, check out your library. Mine still has a player and vinyl records that you can play.
