Adding Springs To My Seat?

Recommended Posts

71_Bronco

On my Bronco 14, the seat is bolted directly to the fender pan. Needless to say, the ride is... bumpy. After sitting on my RJ, I was wondering if there is a way to add some springs between the seat & the fender pan.

Came across these:

Anybody know if these things will work? Or something similar?

They bolt right up & help a little if your a taller guy & sit a little close to the wheel.

The short side bolt to the fender, the longer side for the seat.

Because of back problems, I have replaced the original seat springs on two WH "C" chasses each with a single spring

of a JD type obtained on Ebay. These JD seat springs are U-shaped with about a 6" spread between the ends. They are

bolted to the WH hinged seat mount at one end and to a classic butt-fitting implement seat at the other. The JD springs are

regularly sold on Ebay in pairs, but one per tractor works for me. Baby buggy ride, no back problems, vibrations dampened.
