I have an ST-3072 snowblower that I need help with

I did not get the lift arm (part number 1949) or the pivot crank (part number 4637). Could some one please share some pictures and or dimensions of these parts so I can re-create them? Thanks so much!

I have an ST-3072 and even know where it is, but it might take a while to get to it.

If you're not in a hurry, I'll do my best to dig it out - or at least those two pieces.

I did try mine out a few years ago:

All I can say is that it beat shoveling and that they lift a LOT higher than the modern throwers. :eusa-whistle:

I hope this will get you started. If you need additional dimensions or pictures, just ask.

The lift link is made from 5/16" X 1" flat steel and in "raw form" would be 30" long.

The crank handle is 3/8" round must be close to 41" if it was straightened.

I know they aren't real clear in the picture, but the hole on the thrower end of the lift link is 3/8" and the two at the tractor end are 1/4"

I finally finished up the snowblower today. Thanks again to TT for the great pic with measurements. Now I just need some snow!

It looks great, but the skids are on the wrong sides.

Looks like you need a drive pulley for the hydraulic lift pump too.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I am also redoing one of these blowers and intended to put it on my 854. After just looking at the attachment cross reference guide it does not look like it will work on the 854??? If that is the case I had better get a start on redoing the 702...

I would think that the main reason it can't be used on the 854 would be the longer hood.
