What Happened to RedSquare?

Recommended Posts

I am putting this in for our existing members who are just finding RedSquare again.

The old "whtractor.15.forumer.com" RedSquare is dead. Forumer was sold to a company called Crowdgather and things are not going well. The old RedSquare encountered a database issue mid to late October and Forumer can not or will not repair it (Update: the old forum has been repaired we're not going back). Just prior to the failure of Forumer, I was able to extract posts and member information from the system. While I was working on getting as much data as I could, the forum went down. I used what I could to recover RedSquare which we got 99% of all the posts and 100% of our members (minus their passwords, e-mail addresses and PM's).

RedSquare was rebuilt then recently upgraded to what you see today, with many new and exciting features and forum functionality BUT the same great members and posts! It's sort of like "Super" RedSquare.

So while this is certainly not ideal, missing our PM's, e-mails and passwords is a small price to pay for retaining what makes RedSquare valuable, the members and posts.

If you are a previous member who has not logged into the system yet, you will need to get your id reset. You can send an e-mail with your account name, email address and password to:

Admin@wheelhorseforum.com (this is me)

CasualObserver@wheelhorseforum.com

Sparky@wheelhorseforum.com

Rollerman@wheelhorseforum.com

and we can get you going again. If you tried to log in but your account is now locked, it will automatically unlock in 15 minutes.

Thank You,

Karl

Steve B.

Definately kudos to all who put in the effort to set up our new home. :woohoo: The new forum is fantastic, I for one love the new look and functionality.

Of course it takes people to build and maintain a community, and I find a huge sense of community here. The "Wheel Horsers" are a breed apart.

Thanks again Karl for all your hard work.
