Lane Ranger 11,602 #1 Posted November 29, 2011 I want to encourage all members to place their location on the New Website's Members Map. It is a great feature and one we had on our first Red Square site and I like seeing the members locations. The fill-in box on the Member Map is easy to fill out - Just place the City and State and you have taken care of it!
Hydro 131 #2 Posted November 29, 2011 I can't seem to get it to recognize Ontario yet and I see one location in Norway.
nylyon-(Admin) 8,291 #3 Posted November 29, 2011 It uses Google maps, so how ever it gets formatted for that should work.
Hydro 131 #4 Posted November 29, 2011 It recognizes the location as it comes up and gives me a choice of two locations both near each other here in On. I click on the correct choice and it goes back to the world map and nothing happens. I use Google maps all the time for work so don't know. In my case it's Severn Ontario. It's a Township just outside of Orillia Ont.
nylyon-(Admin) 8,291 #5 Posted November 29, 2011 I know nothing of your location, but I looked at the map and found your pin. Is this you? Also check your profile, there should be the map in there too.

Vinylguy 4,697 #8 Posted November 30, 2011 It would be nice if the tags had a zoom to option. nice to see where everyone is.
nylyon-(Admin) 8,291 #9 Posted November 30, 2011 They do, just click near the tag, not right on it.
CasualObserver 3,411 #10 Posted November 30, 2011 There's also a sliding zoom scale on the left side of the map... you just drag the map around to center it.
