best compact wheel horse 8 speed?

hello,

I have located a b-80 4 speed,(which i like the size of) but am wondering if I need to get an 8 speed tractor, for garden plowing, pulling, etc.

with that in mind, what compares to the b-80 8 speed? is the c-81 essentially the same, or is the b series smaller. also, how does the b-80 compare to the 308-8? I would like to stick with 8hp.

Well the early B-80 4 speeds were about 3" shorter than the other tractors at that time, all the 8 speed tractors are normal long frame tractors, yes a 8 speed will fill your needs better than a 4 speed, I personaly like the tractors with the gas tank under the seat better, but that is just me.

I suspected the 8 speed was the better choice. I will hold out for an 8 speed, 8hp. :dunno:
