857 Belt guard.

Im looking for belt guard dimensions for my 857. Does anyone have this info? What other models can I get the guard off of.

I have sheetmetal and was going to fab one.

What other models can I get the guard off of.

According to the parts cross-reference, the same belt guard (part number 4993) is found on:

604, 654, 704, 854, 855, 856, 867, 1055, & Commando 8.

Well to start I don't have any belt guards that are correct for you, but i have some that will work, Bob the list you posted are ones that will work, except for the 1055 it is special for the 1055 only, that will not fit at all, all round hoods (front engine) tractors with a Kohler and any short frame stick shift tractor with a kohler will work, but to be correct you will need one off a 67 to 69 short frame tractor that is kohler powered, they will not have the indent on the side were they put the model no. on the older tractors.

Busted. I misread the list. When I looked at the drawing, I didn't notice that there was a second number for the 1055.
