tank 0 #1 Posted November 13, 2011 Well my good used blower looks good at first sight but look deep and I fined the paddle wheel or impeller is bent , rubbing on the back of the blower and the inside paint needs to be replaced, think it was blowing dirt. So first you pull the pulley of the mane shaft on the way you see the shaft has bin taped on ones so get the grinder and clean the end of the shaft my grinding a slight chanfr on it. Next check berings I spin the jack shaft and I see a wobble in it,I have not found out Y I will let you know what I fined. Bering on mane shaft has a small growl so time for new, on the to idler sprockets will also be relapsed. The impeller is back ordered till the 11/15/11 after sanding out the best I could and prep for a epoxy primer filler, and three coats of red tring not to build up to much material, to much makes it chip easy! tank 0 #2 Posted November 23, 2011 Sorry its bin a wile. The jack shaft wobble was do to the bearing collars that locks the shaft to the bearings, this collar is offset from the shaft needs to be turned and snugged before you tighten the set sq.
