can whlvr 994 #1 Posted November 12, 2011 so as i have stated a few times im not very savy on the computer,im surprised i figuered out how to post pics lol,can someone tell me how to change my avatar,i try too change it but it says you must be a certain size,i cant figure out how to size the pics,they are on my computer when i push the browse button,i know ive done it before because my existing avatar is my picture from a few years ago but id like to up date,thanks don Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Trouty56 567 #2 Posted November 12, 2011 On the old forum the pic was automatically resized for avatars. Unfortunately this forum does not do that. The image can only be 110 pixels in any one direction. I use a program called Irfanview to resize images. Most likely you could do it with Photobucket too and aim the avatar entry to it that way also. If you would happen to use Irfanview then you would follow these steps.... 1. Open the image with Irfanview 2. Click the Image option at the top 3. Select resize/resample 4. Put a check in the box that reads "preserve aspect ratio" 5. In the new size option enter 110 in the box with the highest number and click OK 6. click File at the top and then save as. 7.
