shootinok 15 #1 Posted September 20, 2011 Thank God for Kroil and opposable thumbs. I could not work on my truck or my tractor without them both. This stuff is great - I just spent several hours taking off the exhaust manifold from my truck. No broken studs! I have used it for some time now and it is my go-to product for rusty bolts, bearings, even cleaning firearms. I love this stuff Moderators: is it OK for me to endorse products like this? rmaynard 14,945 #2 Posted September 20, 2011 I think that any time someone finds something that works, your should let the world know about it. Though I tend to use PB Blaster for "nut bustin", I have a can of Kroil on the workbench. I've always used it to clean and protect old tools. :thumbs2:
zieg72 209 #3 Posted September 20, 2011 50/50 blend of transmission fluid and acetone is even better. I can't believe how well that combo works. Give it a try.

This Trans/Acetone mixture did the trick when nothing else would(I don't have any Kroil). Thanks for letting the world know whomever came up with this idea.
