jeremi2060 0 #1 Posted September 18, 2011 i got a 1973 gt 14 with a loader and a hard side wood cab, my question is did wheel horse make a cab like that or is it after market or even homemade?
MikesRJ 552 #2 Posted September 18, 2011 More than likely home-made. Wheel Horse didn't make any cabs for their tractors. All of the Wheel Horse cabs were made by other suppliers specializing in cabs (as were many Wheel Horse attachment and were sold under the auspice of "Allied Attachments"), but most "Wheel Horse" cabs were made by Original Tractor Cab Co. out of Arlington, IN. The closest thing to "hard" about Wheel Horse cabs is that some were manufactured with fiberglass "Hard Tops", but the sides were still a vinyl cloth. Here's the link to the manual for the GT-14/'73 18hp-Auto/GT-18 series of cab: http://www.mywheelhorse.com/graphics/file/.../AlliedCabs.pdf
