ID Tag

COMMANDO6

Hey. It just occured to me earlier that I've never seen the ID tag with the serial number and model number off my Commando 6.

It looks like there were some numbers stamped into the bracket thing for the implement lift arm, but the piece is pitted so I can't really make it out.

Where was the plate originally located on the tractor? Thanks.

No, not the left side. That was later.

1968 they were under the dash.

Yeah, it's a 68 and the mounting holes are under the dash. But my dad apparently removed it when we did a partial restoration about 8 years back. It's probably floating about in our garage somewhere.

Thanks guys.

Now to hunt it down...

Oops. seen "commando", got excited. 6's are older than 8's, so for self-administered punsihment, I'm going to go re-line my weed whacker.

You know, Wheel Horse should have made weed whackers. I think Toro does, whatever that counts for.
