fourwheels0 191 #1 Posted September 6, 2011 i got another pile of stuff. electro 12 with dealer installed manual pto. has a blown rod but the PO bought all the parts to rebuild it and never did. mighty mac chipper/shredder with mount on the electro. single plow i/h plow converted to use on the slot hitch snowblower in great shape. snow cab. seems to be all there but looks like the windshield is toast. plus all the manuals and complete detailed rebuild manual in 3 ring binder. now i need to figure out what to do with it all
shorts 182 #2 Posted September 6, 2011 rebuild the engine and use the tractor, IMO the shredder is worth it's weight in gold, mine eats oak leaves like no tomorrow, just make sure to hang onto your push stick when your feeding it,mine grabbed a piece of 2 x 4 and ate it like it was an appetizer, they don't like green or stringy stuff real well but it is absolutely awsome for leaves and dried brush and small branches. In the fall I feed the compost pile thru it and then start a new compost pile by feeding it the fresh fall cleanup and oak leaves.

fourwheels0 191 #8 Posted September 6, 2011 that blower wont fit on the 400 series its for the 72 pre tractors yes i know. i'll need to modify the mount. i hate modifying things but i can't get a correct blower for the 414 local to me for a reasonable price so chop, chop lol. when your on a limited income you do what you can or have to. fourwheels0 191 #9 Posted September 7, 2011 this blower i have pictured in this thread is in even better shape than the other one (in the linked thread) plus this one has the side extensions. i'm keeping and modifying this blower. still unsure yet as to what to do with the rest. i may rebuild the 12hp to get the electro up and running then decide. can whlvr 991 #11 Posted September 7, 2011 i personally would not feel bad about altering the blower, lokk at it this way,it will be used for the purpose it was built to do,throw snow, and if your budget is tight(whos isnt)then altering it is the way to go,and if you rebuild the electro it could be altered to have the quick connect mule drive so the blower will fit on it or the
