David and I picked this 1958 Wheel Horse RJ up from a Red Square member Clay Brooks ( RJ35hunter) in Ringgold , Georgia on Saturday.

This is a great photo. I don't think that I would have been able to let go of a piece of history like that. I'm sure it was difficult.

OK,,,,,,I'll admit your RJ is a little (just a little) neater than mine.......but TG I am still (at 70yo) much better looking than both of you put together :banghead::thumbs2:

That's awsome to recreate the picture and the memory.

I was looking at the 1961 pic and noticed the heat shield looks different. Could that be factory made or do you guys think it's home made? It looks nice and clean.

I think the heat shield in the first photo is an original -it just may be moved up further.

Ed: And the "looks" we got hauling this RJ from Georgia and from the neighbors when we got it home really caused some neck wringing!
