dlpaw 3 #1 Posted August 26, 2011 Hello, I have a 1962 round hood lawn ranger. I got the tractor running for the first time today , (my first wheel horse), but it appears that I am shaving just a littlebit of rubber off the top surface of my v-belt on the belt guard when the v belt slacks when the clutch/brake is depressed. It does not rub when driving. My belt guard has a stamped steel guide attached with a rolled edge, at the bottom front of the belt guard, but nothing to guide the top of the belt. My engine is a swapped in HH60, and I see the old lawn ranger parts list shows a wire guide for the belt on the hh55, does the hh60 get one as well? Does anyone have a detail picture of how this should be at the front of the belt guard? I just want to make sure this is set up correctlyI'd appreciate any advice.
