Silver/Grey paint for GT-1800 tractor

I'm going ahead and sanding down my Horse for a light restoration. My brother in law will be painting the hood, seat pan, foot boards, and belt guards as close to the factory grey/silver color as possible, but I"m not sure where to start looking for a close match. I'll be sanding it by hand and maybe some light filler work. The Tach-matic, mule drive, and wheels will be repainted as close to Wheel Horse red as possible.

1983-84 WorkHorse "Pewter Gray" Same as 1982 Lincoln Light Pewter - this is not metallic paint.

The 1982 WorkHorse used "Pewter Gray Metallic" Same as 1971 Lincoln-Mercury Pewter metallic

Thanks, I didn't see the paint code listed in the parts manual. I thought it was a Ford color.

When it comes to putting paint on a working tractor/mower, what is the most durable, best looking type/method? Single component? Base/clear?
