Forest Road 594 #26 Posted August 20, 2011 I'm going w/ 55lb wheel weights and 4 - 44lb suit case weights these days. I'm 250. Hopefully the ice firms up the gravel driveway. Flat black top I wouldn't be overly concerned. Do you have a snow blower? If not you'll be very happy with a single stage. N0, no snow blower. Just a plow. What kind of setup do you have those suitcase weights on? If your driveway is flat I'd stick with wheel weights for now. I have small hills and a couple thousand feet of gravel driveway. Look in implements for pics of the hitch setup. And look for a single stage You'll love it!
Buzz 502 #27 Posted August 20, 2011 Hey Butch, remember two years ago when we had the three 25" snowstorms? My 856 had a heck of a time pushing through some of the drifts. Between the 2nd and 3rd storm I picked up a pair of wheel weights that weighed #140. It made a world of difference. I was even able to push some of the snow from previous storms back further to make more room. That's a problem you don't have with a snow blower.
