TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #2 Posted August 14, 2011 The HY-2 & HY-3 kits were accessories that could be added to many round hood models, and yes - a 754 could have an HY-3 kit. A 754 is nothing more than an 854 with a K-161 (7hp) engine that was the same spec # as the ones used on the 753 models. Aside from the engine, the model number sticker on the belt guard is about the only other thing that's different than an 854. If the engine, belt guard (or decal), and serial number decal are missing or have been changed, you can not tell them apart. There is also a (tractor) serial number range that it would have to fall in to - since all 421 of them were allegedly built about the same time. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
