MaineDad 85 #1 Posted August 11, 2011 Guys: Reassembling the K301 and I pushed the oil seals in too far. I ended up having to pick them out and ruining them. So, can I get these at Napa? If so, does anyone have the part numbers for Napa?
TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #2 Posted August 12, 2011 I have this info in my notes: Front seal 7-04002 Rear seal 7-04003 I use nothing but OEM seals, so I have no clue if the above info is correct.
shorts 182 #3 Posted August 12, 2011 take the seals to the parts store and match them up, NAPA should be able to look up the right parts with the Kohler engine id info,or the numbers stamped on the seals should be able to be interchanged

MaineDad 85 #5 Posted August 13, 2011 TT's Napa parts number were correct. They have been purchased and installed. One neat trick I discovered was that a caulking tube makes a good seal installer Thanks for the help guys!
