Hey Stephen... what kind of a "damper" does all this water put on you asphalt time?

I heard on the news 29 counties in Indiana were declared disasters by the federal government yesterday, and today there are 44 counties just below me in Iowa that are declared state disaster areas today... no word yet on a federal assessment.

Well actually Jason I had a rainout day today....& it's a beautiful sunny day.

It looks like most of the storm damage was to the west & south.

Sounds like a lot of flooding going on.

With state & fed work a job boss or inspector can shut us down.

Most the time though we will do private work or head back to the shop & make minor repairs.

It's a gamble I guess....some days we get a mist & they call it..... or other days as I mentioned in another thread we had an F2 tornado come through or job site.

With todays weather radar tech (computers & cell phones) it seems like everyone is a weatherman & our forman always says it's going north too. :whistle:

Yeah, I was also wondering about the asphalt work as I know Indiana has been getting soaked.
