TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #2 Posted June 10, 2008 Walk of Life is a pretty good one too.. (at least I think it is ) Shooter Jennings (Waylon's son) covered it and did a humorous video. I watch it occasionally - just for a laugh or three. Walk Of Life Video - Shooter Jennings

Perry the sad thing is I can remember when MTV came out & we'd watch vids. Nowadays the younger crowd dosn't realise thats what it was back then. And Nick...those are some good tunes! :WRS:
Nick 13 #5 Posted June 10, 2008 Today they think Mtv is just another channel of reality tv shows. Back then never knew we would have to be on a computer to watch decent videos. TT, I never saw that version from Jennings.

Walk Of Life Video - Shooter Jennings Makes me feel REALLY OLD! <_< Jessie's (Shooter's Mother) sister had a farm a few miles away from where I grew up. It was common to see Waylon and family at area gas stations, grocery stores, etc. and I remember Shooter running around as a little kid. I wish sometimes I'd had a dash cam in my cruiser, I've seen some very funny stuff done by drunks on traffic stops. And the things that were shown going on in that store were way too close to third shift reality. The guy in the green animal suit reminds me of a college kid we had here a few years back. He wore a "Pooh Bear" costume to a halloween party. Scored REAL big with the girls ( seems a LOT of college girls really like Pooh Bear.). After that he wore it around town every weekend. He said it worked almost every time! But to get back on topic, the guitar work in Sultans of Swing is some of the all time best.
