Hi fellow Wheel Horse nuts. My name is Joe and I live in the Cleveland Ohio area. I have 2 Wheel Horses. A C-145 that I use to cut the grass and general yard maintenance and a C-161 8 speed that I recently restored with some rat rod mods. Tried to post pictures but the file was too big. I am considering changing the drive pulley on the 161 to make it go a little faster. Not looking to make it a yard screamer. Any ideas???? :woohoo:

Have you tried using Photobucket.com?

Yes :woohoo:

Here's some instructions I put together for another new member.

Most forums do not allow you to upload photos to the forum itself.

The best thing to do is to set up an account at Photobucket - it's free.

Photobucket.com

You can upload photos and store them there.

While you are making a post that will include photos it is a good idea to have a second tab open on your browser with the image you want to include from photobucket on display in it.

Copy the url from the address bar of the tab with the photo in it. (eg Photobucket)

Switch to the tab where you are making the post (RedSquare)

To include the photo use the image button %7Boption%7D

Your browser may ask if you want to allow scripting - yes you do.

A pop up appears where you can enter the url of where your photo can be found.

Paste it into the Script Prompt pop up.

Click OK and the code will be inserted into your post.

I use 800 x 600 resolution for photos to be used on the forum. They are big enough to see detail and load pretty quickly. If you use higher resolution I believe the forum scales them down to fit. The higher the resolution the slower a photo will be to load.

Hope this helps.

ps If you delete a photo from Photobucket that has been used in a post then it will no longer show up in the post. There are lots of examples of where people have done this in RedSquare - which can be annoying and frustrating.

I had a hard time posting pics the first time I tried, but once you get the hang of it, its as easy as copy and paste.
