These noisy bastar..... oops! :WRS: CRITTERS are all over the place. Since they aren't supposed to show up for another 17 years I thought I'd capture a few with the camera. I even did a nice little video for Eldon! :whistle::dunno::D

Hey, we have those here too! But, none have the red eyes and light colors. All dark green and black...

Only the males make that racket. Wife says God made all males the same way.... :whistle:

We had tons of those back in IL, they were harmless. Cicada Killers though.... more_killers_hand_35.jpg now there's a scary BF bug.

Oh... and yeah, Cicadas are 17 year bugs... but they're not all on the SAME 17 year rotation!

We had some here about 5 years ago too, but this is the BIG year for them. I was almost 5 years old when I remember the first "plague" of them hitting. Everywhere I stepped, I got to squish BUGS! :whistle:

i think i have seen those hornets around here :WRS: . i did'nt know what the heck they where.

look like the king hornet from japan.
