P/N 7478 is a 5/8" wide X 84" long belt, Mark.

That is still a good number if you want to get it from your dealer. (a little over $20 - but worth it when it comes to fit & quality. :WRS: )

How are you making out with that lift control valve? :whistle:

the breakdown of the lift valve was what i needed fixed that and now on to next issue were gaining on it thanks again tt

yes i put new drive belt on still doesnt wanna go up hill to good and if mower is running forget it i changed oil and filter any one have any ideas

You can thank Jason Schahl for the control valve diagram. :WRS:

Is it running out of engine power, or just not "pulling" the tractor, Mark?

If it just feels like it's slipping, check the tow release valve. I'm not sure exactly where you'll find it on your 160, but it's there on the pump block somewhere. :whistle: (maybe you already checked it?)

Look for the obvious sheared axle keys, etc. first, and we'll hope it's not an internal issue with the hydro unit.

ok tt thanks to j schahl for to lift valve break down . tt no the motor doesnt slow just doesnt pull ive says to turn valve one turn left to tow one turn back to drive the screw is burried to the right cant go any further and i will ck the keys in rear wheels thanks tt
