CasualObserver 3,411 #2 Posted June 29, 2011 Perry, that is a really cool one. I've been following it since Page 15 was new. It's amazing that it just keeps going and going. The things that he's refinished and refurbished are out of this world. It's not that far from Tim (catman) I wonder if he's ever been over there. Tim? Redbirdman 7 #6 Posted June 30, 2011 I can't imagine...........the amount of work! and time involved. Gramma has a fit when I spend more than a half a day just washing the hanger floor...... But I think I would be a little quiet about that massive hole in the ground to fix an oil leak in the lift...............A WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU SAY??? DID YOU SAY "AN OIL LEAK ....IN THE DIRT" OMG EPA,,,DEP,,,FD,,,,State remediation permits, soil disposal, OSHA...... That finished black and white tile floor is perfect for the 1950's and that guy did one heckof a job! ed :D
Docwheelhorse 2,740 #7 Posted June 30, 2011 Cool.... Cool.... Cool.... and a Chevy II parked in the bay... It doesn't get any better than that! Tony
Ken B 3,189 #8 Posted June 30, 2011 That is flat out awesome! These days its a shame that most people will tear that building down and put up some El Cheapo steel building in its place. That dude saved a piece of Americana. :woohoo:

312Hydro 474 #11 Posted July 2, 2011 I wish you guys never found Garage Journal! Now I'm looking at my garage and seeing just what a mess(Although it was always a mess) it is! I could probably claim title to "Worlds Most Junked Up Garage" I am a packrat so that goes without saying. They do some amazing garages . Is that a seventies Plymouth Satellite sitting in front of your pump Horsefeathers?
horsefeathers 15 #12 Posted July 3, 2011 Perry, The rat's ate it all !! The PO was a pack rat... And they striped it to bones! It was full of car parts when I first looked at the place. Junk engines, transmissons, starters, alternators piled 5 feet high! Garage is 35x40 and you could not walk through it! They took everything but the copper water pipes! I'am still digging up sparkplugs, thermostats, and muffler clamps in the yard! Hydro, That's a '74 dodge Charger I sold last year... a cool car should'a kept it!
