idruthrbfishin 0 #1 Posted June 25, 2011 I was wondering if anyone knew the average rate per acre to lease farm land. I am considering buying a 100 acre farm of which approx. 70 acres are tillable. I would like to see the land farmed, but do not have the resources to farm it myself. If I could lease the land to a local farmer, the lease pmt. would help out with the taxes. Gene_S 93 #2 Posted June 25, 2011 I have some farm land and I get $150 per acre. Sure makes a nice check in the spring and the fall. More then pays for the taxes and helps buy some stuff...

puddlejumper 67 #4 Posted June 25, 2011 Dont, forget to figure lay of the ground and if its been tiled or not. I realize you ask for a average but the lay of the ground and the way its been maintained or raped makes a differance.
