C-85 653 #1 Posted June 10, 2011 :hide: I am working on a Toro 2cyle (Suzuki) mower that leaks gas out of its carb. I want to replace the needle and seat and can't find a part number for it. My first attempt was to buy the needle assembly at the Toro dealer, but this was backwards from what I'm seeing, instead of being a needle and seat the needle had a rubber tip and no replacable seat. The needle I have is clearly all metal. Does anyone know what the part number would be for this rubber seat? The model of this is a 16785, 701 and is a serial number. TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #2 Posted June 10, 2011 I've only been around the Suzuki two-strokes on the Eastman hover mowers at work, but you should be able to use the engine model number to get you to the right needle or carb kit. The 47PE4 and 47PF5 engine takes carb kit #81-1960 or float needle/wire #81-1600. The 47PG6 engine takes the #12-6379 carb kit or the #12-6379 needle/wire.
