Duff 206 #1 Posted May 29, 2011 Hi, folks, Just wanted to share a couple of photos of the herd as of this summer. Left to right (or far to near), 312-8 #1, my first rebuild. This is my mowing tractor, and came from an estate in Connecticut. The middle tractor is 312-8 #2, my plowing and towing tractor, which my friend Jack (Rideawaysenior) found for me in Massachusetts sitting in a junkyard. On the right (nearest) is a 310-8 picked up from our member truckin88, fresh out from rebuild. I'm rebuilding a 42" RD deck for this one. Can never have enough working mowing tractors this time of year, right? I just threw this in to show you how sharp the shifting knobs Glenjeri sells can make a tractor look. Really dresses up the machine! Duff :WRS:
tunahead72 2,346 #2 Posted May 29, 2011 Nice work, Duff! Only, please don't let either of my machines see these photos, it'll just give them ideas! I like the wheel/tire treatment on the 310, kinda gives it an IH/Farmall look, very nice. What's the "3-something-8 awaiting a rebuild" all about?

Duff 206 #15 Posted May 30, 2011 What's the "3-something-8 awaiting a rebuild" all about? Thanks for the compliments, guys! It's been a lot of fun! Ed, the "3-something-8 awaiting rebuild" is a frame and a bunch of sheet metal and other parts laying loose around my shop. I've got a "hold"on a tranny in Massachusetts, and I'm still pondering what to do for a power plant (thus the "something") since the one that came on the frame (without a tranny!) is complete toast. Maybe a diesel clone, maybe a Honda heart transplant, maybe another Kohler....all depends on the pocketbook when I get around to starting this project. Thanks again! ~Duff :hide:
