gsxrinthe9s 0 #1 Posted April 30, 2011 Picked up an old wheel horse and have some problems the decals are gone and can't find the model number here is what I know its a 10 HP kohler 3 speed with high and low range it has a coil with 3 wires going to it the gas tank is in the rear I have two problems I think the ignore switch is bad its a 5 prong but with not knowing the model I don't know what to get Also I want to change the fluid in the trans its kinda milky looking but don't know what to use Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

C-Series14 15 #8 Posted April 30, 2011 Ok...so 81-10K801 is a 1978 C-101 8-Speed. Also, the serial number is 02705. Under those numbers is another number, it is the manufacture date, a 4 digit number. It is an awesome tractor because...it is a C-Series!!! :thumbs: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
