LuckyJohn 0 #1 Posted April 24, 2011 I have a set on of Carlisle 23x8.5x12 bar tires on my 516H, I was wondering if I can put some Duro 23x10.50x12 on the same rims and back on the tractor? I like the way the 8.5 fit on there but having the extra width for traction would be great as well. Thanks John
n1defan 47 #2 Posted April 24, 2011 The wide tires will work on those rims, but they will be more rounded than flat. If you really want to get extra width of wider the tire than you should put them on wider rims.
JC 1965 1,528 #3 Posted April 24, 2011 Yea, Tom's right. Mount them on 8 inch wheels. They will look great. Hope this helps.
LuckyJohn 0 #4 Posted April 24, 2011 This does help me a lot, but were can I get some 8" rims? E-Bay, or is there someplace on the web?
Kelly 1,028 #5 Posted April 24, 2011 The duro brand tires run a bit small, i have a set on stock 7" rims they bow a little but not to bad, Goodyear, carlisle and firestone run the normal size.
