#1 TRANSAXLE SEAL removed old seal today. When checking on new seal c/r 11124 it is only 1/4 in wide old seal is 1/2in wide. Will this work ? Wheel horse#6449

#2 have raider 12 1968 on TractorDate.com it says transmision hold 2 qts oil. I was only able to get 1qt. in before runing out hole. how do you get 2 QTS. in?

New seals are frequently thinner than original. The will work try to seat teh seal so it rides on the axle shaft not where the old one did as the old one may have worn a groove. Also some people put two seals on
