Martin 2,130 #1 Posted April 20, 2011 felt like getting the deck in good working order for my 1054. the deck that came with the tractor was complete but had rotted through in a few areas between the deck support and the deck shell. i got a shell from lane ranger last saturday at mentone and between the two will make up one complete worker unit. i stripped both decks last night and patched the good one (the discharge end of the deck was cut off and the rusted out deck just happened to have a good discharge end), then today blasted and powder coated the shell and shell support. later will start on the spindles and hardware for the deck. the good deck still had a lot of surface pitting from rust but it cleaned up reasonably good and will be more than ok for a working deck. heres a few pics..... deck i got with the 1054. deck shell from lane... patching the cut off end of deck.... powder coated deck and support....
