Pollack Pete 2,273 #1 Posted April 13, 2011 Got a call yesterday morning from an acquantice that knows I'm addicted to Wheel Horse tractors.He told me he had a Commando 8 for a cheap price.I took the whopping 1/2 mile ride and picked it up.It's pretty sad looking.No seat.Wrong wheels and tires.The head is off but it's there and engine is not siezed.But it's restorable.I also got one of the gear/shaft drive RD mower decks from him.No rust on the deck and every thing spins nicely.I wasn't going to buy any thing else under 12 horse,but of course.......I couldn't pass this one up.
